OVERVIEW
Augusta Christian Schools, a prestigious educational institution with a rich history in the CSRA, recognized the need for a website refresh. While the content and purpose of the site remained relevant, the outdated design and lack of user-friendly features were hindering its potential. The challenge lay in balancing tradition with modernity, retaining the nostalgic feel of the old site while incorporating improvements and transitioning to a more accessible content management system (CMS).

PROCESS & SOLUTIONS
Recognizing the importance of continuity, Powerserve first conducted a thorough analysis of the old website's design elements, identifying key design features that needed to be preserved. We maintained the color scheme, fonts, and overall layout to retain the familiar aesthetic.
We introduced subtle design enhancements to improve user experience. The user interface was designed with clearer navigation using mega menus. Decluttering the super navigation and main navigation provided an overview with better visual appeal for each mega menu section. Accordion menus, which housed vast amounts of information, were updated to be more user friendly and visually appealing. Various design components were added throughout the copy of inner pages in order to highlight text and make content-heavy pages more delicate. Responsive design for mobile users was also drastically improved with optimized page load times for a more efficient browsing experience.
Powerserve migrated existing content to the new WordPress CMS, ensuring all data, including articles and images were seamlessly transferred. A large directory of staff pages was transferred and set up in a way to make it easily maintainable by Augusta Christian. As part of this, we implemented user-friendly plugins to enhance functionality without compromising simplicity. During the data migration, specific attention was given to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in order to ensure online visibility and effective reach of target audiences.
Powersereve provided comprehensive training to Augusta Christian on managing content through the new WordPress CMS. Ongoing support is also provided to address any questions or concerns during the transition and beyond.
RESULTS
Powerserve retained the core design elements that have become a signature of the Augusta Christian Schools platform. The subtle improvements made were successful in enhancing functionality, optimizing navigation, and introducing modern features. Users experienced minimal disruptions during the transition, with the new site seamlessly taking over while preserving the familiarity of the old design.
Staff members maintaining the site were very pleased with how Powerserve listened to what they wanted and executed the new site with great attention to detail. A thorough website training and quick response time to questions made the transition to the new CMS platform very easy to navigate.
